If you connected Komo to Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn or another platform, deleting data in Komo does not always delete the original content on that platform. You may also need to remove content or app permissions inside the third-party account.
Delete your Komo account
- Sign in to your Komo workspace.
- Open Settings, then choose Workspace or Account.
- Select Delete account or Delete workspace.
- Review the confirmation message and confirm deletion.
If you do not see a delete option, email privacy@komo.app from the email address on your account and include the workspace name you want deleted.
Disconnect social accounts and integrations
- Sign in to Komo.
- Open Settings, then choose Connections or Integrations.
- Find the connected account, channel or app you want to remove.
- Select Disconnect or Remove.
You can also revoke Komo's permissions directly from the third-party platform, such as Meta Business Settings, TikTok Business Center or LinkedIn account settings.
Request deletion by email
To request deletion manually, send an email to privacy@komo.app with:
- The email address used for your Komo account.
- Your workspace or company name.
- The data you want deleted, such as account profile, workspace data, connected social data or support messages.
- Any connected social handles that help us identify the correct records.
We may ask you to verify ownership of the account before deleting data.
What gets deleted
Depending on your request and legal requirements, deletion may include account profile details, workspace records, connected account tokens, scheduled posts, imported messages, uploaded media, analytics records and support history.
What may be retained
We may retain limited records when required for security, fraud prevention, billing, tax, legal compliance, dispute resolution or backup integrity. Backup copies are deleted on their normal retention schedule.
Timing
We aim to complete verified deletion requests within 30 days unless a shorter or longer period is required by applicable law. If we need more time, we will let you know.
